学习英语语法的方法方法很多，因人而异，专家学者也各有其独到的见解。实际上学校的学生学习英语语法，其学习的目标主要是能讲写通顺无误的一般英语就可以，而不是将来要成为一个英语语法专家。

学习语法一定要真正理解，不要死记硬背。比如很多老师在教课时，会特别强调现在分词和动名词在句子中的不同成分，分词可以作定语、状语、补语、表语；动名词可作定语、主语、宾语、表语，这样很容易记混淆。其实分词就相当于形容词，形容词能充当的成分分词基本都能充当，动名词就相当于名词，名词能充当的成分动名词基本都能充当。这样也便于理解为什么动名词能充当主语和宾语，而分词则不能。理解语法并不是要对语法规则刨根到底，而是要联系实际情况来体会句子要表达的意思。
